1835–1905
Zoologist and founder of Münster’s zoo.
This guide introduces selected biographies and graves connected with Münster Central Cemetery, including Hermann Landois. It is not a complete account of the people buried at the cemetery.
Locating the graves
No precise grave position is shown here for Hermann Landois. Ask Münster Central Cemetery Commission for the section, row and grave number, then relate that reference to an entrance or named landmark on the general cemetery map.
Images for recognition
No grave or memorial photograph is shown for the selected people. Rely on the exact grave reference from Münster Central Cemetery Commission rather than on an assumed visual match.
Ask about another person
Send Münster Central Cemetery Commission the full name, known life dates, possible spelling variants and an approximate burial period. Ask specifically for the section, row and grave number. Include Robert-Koch-Straße 11, 48149 Münster so the enquiry identifies Münster Central Cemetery when the operator manages more than one cemetery.
